GT Mart("we", "our", "the shop") operates a local grocery delivery service and the GT Martmobile application ("the app"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the app.

2. Information we collect

• Account information (optional): name, mobile number, and password if you create an account.
• Delivery information: name, phone number, delivery address, and optional landmark when you place an order.
• Order information: products ordered, quantities, prices, order number, payment method (cash on delivery), and order status.
• Preferences: whether you enable WhatsApp order updates (if you are logged in).
• Device storage: the app may store your cart, session, and order history on your device to improve your experience.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos from your device, payment card numbers, or bank account details through the app. Payments are cash on delivery only.

3. How we use your information

• Process and deliver your grocery orders.
• Communicate about your order (including via WhatsApp when you use that feature).
• Manage your account and order history if you register.
• Provide customer support.
• Improve our catalog and service.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

4. How we share information

We may share information only as needed to run the service:

• Shop staff — order and delivery details so we can fulfil your order.
• WhatsApp — when you open or send a WhatsApp message from the app (for example to share order details with the shop or receive updates), that communication is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own policies.
• Service providers — we use Supabase (cloud hosting and database) to store app data securely. They process data on our behalf to operate the app.

5. Data retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to operate the shop, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the app and our servers. Passwords are stored using secure hashing on our servers, not as plain text.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices and contact

You may browse the catalog without an account. To place an order, delivery details are required. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data:
